The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and bowels, playing a crucial role in core stability, posture, and overall well-being. Many women experience pelvic floor dysfunction due to pregnancy, childbirth, aging, or lifestyle factors, which can lead to issues like incontinence, lower back pain, and reduced strength.
This 6-Week Pelvic Floor Workshop is designed to help women build awareness, strength, and control of these essential muscles. Led by Dr. Jess Gingerich and strength coach Kara, this program combines expert education with targeted exercises to enhance function, confidence, and overall health.
Workshop Schedule
Starting TUESDAY, February 4th at 1:30pm
- Week 1: How to lengthen your pelvic floor (awareness)
- Week 2: How to contract your pelvic floor (awareness)
- Week 3: Breathing strategies for lifting (Levels 1-3)
- Week 4: Core training (sit-ups, hollow holds for bracing)
- Week 5: Bracing techniques
- Week 6: Jumping and running mechanics
